What fire training can I undertake at Kemble
Airport?

We offer two different courses;

The Fire Extinguisher Course

This is a basic fire awareness course. It is
recommended that all of your employees
undertake this course so everyone knows
how to react in the event of a fire.



The course will cover the following;
• Elements of fire
• The fire triangle
• Fire extinction
• The spread of fire
• Classification of fire
• Identification of the dangers of fire and smoke
• Recognising the different extinguishers
• Selecting and use of the correct type of extinguisher competently and safely

The Fire Marshal Course
This course covers all the skills in the extinguisher course as well as covering the duties of a fire marshal which include proactive prevention of fires and reactive tasks in the event of a fire.
• Understanding the role of the Fire Marshal
• Understanding the purpose of the fire plan and risk assessment
• Understanding the evaluation procedure and communications with the emergency services

The half a day course costs £40 +VAT and includes;
